Ensuring that learning never stops - reaching those furthest behind

High-level panel on innovative solutions to the global learning crisis.
The high level panel will discuss ways to address the global learning crisis. It will spotlight the work of the Global Partnership for Education to strengthen education systems in developing countries, partner country and civil society perspectives and discuss Finland’s global role in education. Specifically the panel discussion will highlight the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education in developing countries and make a case for investing in education to build back better and more resilient education systems. The panel will address necessary steps to accelerate progress towards SDG4 and highlight results, lessons learned and solutions for ensuring learning never stops and reaching those furthest behind.

Panelists include H.E Ville Skinnari, Minister for International Trade and Development (Finland), H.E Manuel Bazo, Vice Minister of Education (Mozambique), Alice Albright, CEO of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), and Tomi Järvinen, Director of International Programmes, Finnish Church Aid (FCA). Moderator is Ritva Reinikka, Professor of Practice at Aalto University.
